Friday, October 17 was a beautiful, warm day in Naugatuck, which kept staff members warm as they were soaked by buckets of water!

As a fundraiser for the theatre club, the students of Western School brought in their coins and filled up buckets with staff members' names on them, knowing the staff member with the most money at the end of the week would get soaked in front of the whole school! Mr. Luchene raised the most money with Mrs. Goodrich in a close second place.

The afternoon started off with a sneak peak performance of, "Under the Sea," by the theatre club. Next, students cheered as Mr. Luchene was soaked by a bucket of water! The Western students then persuaded Mrs. Goodrich to be soaked!

The Western Theatre Club thanks all of the students and families who donated to this fundraiser, which will go towards the purchase of costumes for cast members.
