On September 24, Western School proudly held Go Orange Day, which was organized by the school's Parent/Family/ Community Engagement Committee, which is comprised of Western staff. The purpose was to raise awareness about child hunger. The whole school wore orange to show their support and orange could be found all around the building, including in the food served in the cafeteria as well as the pumpkins outside the front door. The students of Western School also brought in an abundant supply of cans which will be donated to the Naugatuck food bank!
